A resident on the 2700 block of Humboldt Avenue South in East Isles reported that someone tried a side door of their garage and was apparently scared off by an automatic motion-sensor light. Nothing was taken, and no arrest has been announced.
Per policy, the location is given to the block only and no unconvicted person is named.
The 2700 block of Humboldt Avenue South falls within the Minneapolis Police Department's 5th Precinct; anyone who saw activity there can contact the 5th Precinct or 311.
